Flight and Hotel Information
There is a mandatory meeting on Tuesday february 12 at 8pm for all students attending this trip. both the attending student and one parent or guardian must attend. the meeting will be held in the auditorium.
Arrive RHS 3:00AM
(We know, this is awful. Flights were hard to come by and because it’s peak season, leaving the day before would have added about $400 per student to the cost, and we weren’t able to get everyone on the same plane for later flights. It’s doubtful we will travel on Presidents’ weekend again for this reason).
Please…sleep on the bus ride to the airport, and then again on the plane if you can. You’ll get back 3 hours of sleep if you pull this off. Go to bed early on Thursday if at all possible. Turn the lights down low about an hour before you go to bed, and no electronic devices including TV. Try reading a book with a reading light.

Formal Concert Attire
Enough clothes for 4 days with a couple of spare outfits “just in case”
Instrument and Music (this will be your ticket to get on the bus before we depart RHS)
Bathing suit if using hotel pool or will be using water park
Cash: How much to bring is based on what you think. We’d say $100-200 as an estimate to be safe, but that depends on you…
You’ll be required to purchase at least one meal a day with your own money.
Consider being able to purchase water and snacks at the airport and in the parks.
Students will be allowed one piece of checked luggage, one carry on, and a personal item.
Cello and bass rental situation. We are working with a company called Atlantic Strings to rent instruments while we are there.
